Option 1 – Rain Director® a rainwater harvesting system:

A typical rainwater harvesting system with a Rain Director® RWH-RD01 includes the following components:

  • Smart header tank with sensors
  • Rainwater controller 12v
  • Underground rainwater storage tank
  • Filter integrated into the top of the tank
  • Telescopic lid and turret to the tank
  • Overflow siphon and rodent barrier
  • Calmed inlet to prevent new water disturbing any silt
  • Floating pump intake to draw water from cleanest part
  • Pump, normally for submersion in the rainwater tank
  • Mains backup to supply your appliances when there’s no more rainwater

Option2 – just buy the Rain Director® to fit with your own system

The standard Rain Director® RWH-RD01 includes the following components:

RD-01 compnonents

  • Smart header tank for roof space, including two electric level sensors, float valve, overflow tower, inputs and outputs. 91 litres capacity. 736mm (L) x 584mm (W) x 533mm (H).
  • Rain Director® controller with mode indicators, programming buttons, control valves. and 12v converter Wall-mounted, ground floor. 325mm (W) x 260mm (H) x 95mm (D).
  • Heavy duty submersible pump to fit in underground storage tank.

Option 3 – Buy  the NEW Solar Rain Director® RWH-RD04:

Using the converted energy of daylight hours to drive a highly efficient 12v pump, the all new Solar Rain Director® significantly cuts your rainwater harvesting carbon footprint.

  • Smart header tank for roof space, including two electric level sensors, the float switch, the overflow tower, inputs and outputs. 655mm (L) X 490mm (W) X 510mm (H).
  • Rain Director® control panel with mode indicators, programming buttons and control valves. 325mm (W) X 260mm (H) X 95mm (D).
  • 12v 30 watt DC photo voltaic panel 980mm (L) x 340mm (W) x 15mm (D).
  • 12v no-spill 45 amp-hour gel battery optional. You may use your own.
  • Lightweight Comet Geo-Duplo-Plus-Inline submersible pump pre-fitted alongside float sensor to 4 inch downpipe in underground storage tank. 34 litres/minute 1.8 bar nominal, 50 watts.
  • Charge Director® mains backup charger. Where normal chargers draw some residual mains current even when the appliance is off or on standby, the Charge Director® only calls for mains power when the battery is flat.
  • Cabling: 0.75 mm dual core (red and black) cable provided for … a) Mains converter to Charge Director® – 0.5 metres b) Solar panel to Charge Director® – 10 metres c) Charge Director® to Battery – 3 metres d) Battery to Control Panel – 2 metres … and e) 10 metres of 1.5mm dual core cable for Battery to Pump submerged in underground storage tank. Float switch and pressure switch in storage tank are pre-wired.
  • Piping: 10 metres of 1⁄2 inch flexible piping is provided to link the pump and pressure switch to the control panel in the building. Piping to header tank and appliance provided by the client.
